Black Magic is written by Dr William F. Bose of Boston, Massachusetts. His interest in chemistry and poisons and their affects on human beings.  This story is based on a recent trial in which Dr Bose testified. The story opens in the familiar office of Doctor Christian. A cheerful wood fire burns in the fire place, and a softly shaded light shines down on the warm, leather chair, where the good doctor sits reading - out loud as it happens - from what appears to be a hand written manuscript...
