On the morning of July 17th 1932 a woman went to the Los Angeles bureau of missing persons to report the disappearance of her sister Dolly Martin. She had been missing almost three months and subsequent investigation lead to no trace of her. Then three years later in a drunken stupor her melodramatic husband tells a story to his sister in law which leads her to believe that he has killed her sister.
