Joe visits the doctor and discovers he only has a few months to live. The doctor who has known Joe since he was a child has been working on a technique of freezing a person until such time that a cure can be found. Joe has nothing to lose so he volunteers to be a human guinea pig for the doctor so he can prove his technique.
