After a long, late session at work, in his favorite place in the world - the science lab - Dr Currie Harrold the young and brilliant research man was driving home. The pelting sheets of rain, the wet, glistening roads, the penetrating glare of lights from cars speeding busily in both directions, challenged and irritated him. He turned on his radio, stepped hard on the accelerator pedal, and began to hum along to the tune which came from his loudspeaker. Suddenly there was a flash of lightning, and the doctor glimpsed a car careening towards him...
