How many of us have longed to escape from the narrow limits of reality in to another time but if we could venture back what we find Contentment or unhappiness? This is the narrative of a man who made such a journey, a man who went from today in to yesterday. Ronald Coleman stars as Peter Standish who inherited the house in Berkeley Square in London in 1939 from Mr Pettigrew. He finds a diary belonging to the man in a portrait on the wall a distant relative who was also called Peter Standish and they bear a strong resemblance. The diary is Peter’s passport in to the eighteenth century and the life of his ancestor.

Berkeley Square is an adaptation of author Henry James's The Sense of the Past.
