Jim Beasley is a young reporter working for J. L Boland's newspaper. Boland had worked as a cub reporter under Jim Beasleys dad twenty five years ago and worked on a story of corruption on Skid Row. Now Jim Beasley junior and J.L. were working together again to uncover the leader of the racket and help those derelicts.
