The insurance office have authorized Johnny Dollar to investigate information supplied by Oran Vance, a felon Johnny helped to convict seven years ago, who has just been released from Sing Sing Prison. He showed up at Johnny's office with an idea about the Towner Loan Company in Baltimore, where one million dollars was stolen in 1946. The insurance company have a reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the culprit - and Vance thinks that he can help Johnny to help them solve it...
