He was on a jury and he had a hangover so he wasn’t paying complete attention to what was been said and had blank spaces in what he heard. First he heard the Doctor explain what had caused this man to croak, then another guy gets up in front of the jury box and says he’s gonna prove this dames done it, he’s gonna have her hung if only this jury would co-operate. But then who does he find turn up in the witness stand but Charlie Brooks the bartender in his bar…
