Gracie bumps in to Kay Kyser in the drugstore and he’s not looking too good as he’s very tired since his new baby little carol Amanda was born. He and his wife have been invited to the sponsors for dinner tonight and he needs to impress them but he doesn’t have a babysitter. Gracie has her bridge club tonight but she volunteers George to baby sit. However when she tries to tell him she discovers that he doesn’t have a maternal instinct in his body so she lets him believe he is going to Kay’s tonight to sing on his show.
