This is a case of murder, not a pretty subject in fact little of what you’re about to hear is pretty. Even Jonathan Brixton criminal lawyer isn’t a conventional hero at all. Brixton is a sardonic bachelor who has seen much of life and found it wanting. He lives in San Francisco in a big old house overlooking the bay. His Chinese cook Tong sees that Brixton doesn’t drink too much, makes him go to bed fairly early at least one night a week.
