On his first day back on the job from his annual vacation, Captain Kennelly has a seriously injured Patrolman on his hands! The patrolman is approached by a tenant when he's on his patrol, who complains that he's been thrown out of his own tenement by an armed drunk. When Patrolman Cochran steps in to protect the man's 15 year old daughter from the drunk - he is seriously injured whilst struggling to disarm him.
