Argus Murder Case

Argus Murder Case

Broadcast: 28th September 1948
Added: May 19 2008
The Argus Murder Case started when Edgar Walters came to Philo Vance asking him to help find Walter’s wife. She had gone up to a gambling ship, the Argos but nothing had been heard of her for several hours. Then an amateur radio operator relayed a frantic message from Mrs Walters to the police and it sent Vance, Sgt Meade, District Attorney Markham and Mr Walters out to the Argus where they met Lucky Saunders, owner of the ship, and Mr and Mrs Henderson both of whom knew Mrs Walters and both of whom deny she was ever on board.
