In Big Town as in all great cities, all but lost amidst the clamor of its life, there walk in silence and in suffering, angels of the street. And this is the simple story of but one, a flower seller in the theatrical sector of Big Town. It began one chilly autumn evening as an elderly woman known as Violet stood shivering in a doorway waiting for some a young man to come out of some swanky apartment.
