And Now Tomorrow is based on Rachel Field’s best selling novel of the same name. Loretta Young plays the part of a proud and wealthy girl who finds the state of her romance thwarted by an act of fate and Alan Ladd plays her childhood enemy from another world who tries not only to help her overcome her handicap but to overcome as well the barriers that stand between them.
Alan Ladd plays the part of Dr Merek Vance and Loretta Young plays the part of Emily Blair the same parts that they played in the 1944 Paramount picture.
