Most of you have, at one time or another, imagined yourself being ill. Everybody enjoys mild hypochondria from time to time, even if only for the attention it brings. Of course, severe hypochondria is something else again, which might even require psychiatric treatment. But the point of all this is, as I said at the beginning, the hypochondriac imagines himself to be ill. However, there are a few imaginary ailments which do manage to become diseases in themselves, and we even have names for them...
