Pat Frank, who wrote the famous satire of our time, Mr Adam, is the author of a new book entitled An Affair of State, and today he meets his critics in a battle about his new book. It's a book that he believes shows three things: the futility of war, the affect that one man in the department of state could have upon your lives, and thirdly that we can't preach democracy abroad without practising it at home.
