Amy Slater enters Marshall Matt Dillon’s Office. She’s 50 years old and she looks 60. She blames it on the prairie and some other things. Amy has been living in Wichita the past year and when she heard Matt Dillon was in Dodge she took the Santa Fe railroad to Dodge. She tells Matt that she has come to Dodge to die. She only has enough money to last about two days and she wants the Marshall to kill her. She says she has been waiting a long time to get Matt to kill her.
