Lamont Cranston and Margo are vacationing in St Luis; island paradise but there’s something mighty strange going on. The village is deserted and the only native that was about could do nothing but utter the word “Guilmet” which means “the night that eats men”. Some ten years ago on this same night a Scots explorer and his wife vanished from the island and were never seen again. Each year there after on this night a man and a woman has mysteriously disappeared.
