Al Brenner has skipped and was supposed to appear before the grand jury. There was a $5000 reward for his return. Tiny Gillespe was a professional stoolie and went to Richard Diamond proposing they share the reward for bringing Brenner back. He had the information but it wouldn’t look good for Tiny if he brought Brenner back. Diamond didn’t like Tiny and certainly didn’t want to work with him as a partner but to bring a big criminal like Al Brenner to trial would be worth it aside from the $2500.
