Last time Captain Midnight together with Ma and Patsy Donovan, Slim Poole, Chuck Ramsey and Senor Perada’s nephew who has been nicknamed pebbles sat down to a savoury feast of Mexican dishes. They are thoroughly enjoying themselves under the twinkling stars watching the campfire and listening to pebbles tell about Mexican food. Suddenly they are jerked back to grim reality when the ominous drone of an engine is heard in the night sky. Captain Midnight orders the earthen jugs of water brought so the fire may be extinguished…
