Nearly one hundred years ago, our Navy was small, yet even then some men knew the day would come when we would have to fight in every ocean. One of them was a man who first took our fleet into the Philippines. This is the story of Admiral George Dewey, at the start of the Spanish American War. The tale begins on December 7th 1897.
