On a beautiful summer day in 1895 Holmes had just concluded his investigation of the sudden death of Cardinal Tusker. Holmes and Watson thought a couple of weeks rest would be a pleasant change and they chose Stratford-Upon-Avon as the destination. For the first week life was calm and peaceful and it wasn’t until the following Tuesday when the troubles began. They decided to take a walk through the Forest of Avon when a shot fired out and a bullet hits Sherlock Holmes in the shoulder. Was it just a poor shot or was it intended. Another mystery was afoot.
