Abraham Lincoln was President from March 4th, 1861 to April 15th, 1865 and this story happened in 1865. This incidence tells the story of the strange dream that Lincoln had before every one of the important events of the war. In it Lincoln is on a strange ship moving toward a dark and definite shore and every time he dreams it victory follows. However this time the dream was the night before his fatal visit to the theater.
