As we look in on the little community today, we find Cedric Wehunt running the store and library for Lum and Abner. He's answering the telephone, and the caller asks for Lum or Abner so that she can place her order. But the old fellows have gone to the county seat today, to buy some 'junk' for a restaurant that Lum would like to open. Cedric decides that he'll take the order over the phone...
