The spring of 1953 was very eventful Ukey Betcha had gone to Tampa, Florida to try to crack in to the big leagues with the Cincinnati Reds who were in training there and apparently Mayor Plumpfront was on his way to Florida too because his girlfriend the widow Dilly left him and headed there.
