Randy has spent the last few years in a prisoner of war camp in the Philipines dreaming of the day he could return to be with his girl, Marion. When he returns he discovers that she has met and married Ed, a rich man. Randy tells her a load of lies about him becoming a rich and famous man and she shows her true colors. He tricks her into helping him murder her husband, and then frames her for the murder.
