Harry was in love with Anne Wheelock and when he and two other people went to her house for her birthday party he was not expecting her husband Jim to be there. Anne could not tell him that he was not really her husband but escaped convict Chuck Anderson harbouring her escaped convict brother Milton Wheelock. Harry threatened to kill them both and just before a shooting the lights went out and Jim, Chuck Anderson, was killed.
