The Judge calls round for a game of checkers with the Mayor when there is a knock at the door. It is Mr Henry Cain and Mr James Jennings from Globe Pictures in Hollywood. They have come to take a picture of the Mayor to be run in the papers tomorrow under the headline, “Globe Pictures chooses Springdale as cross section of America, launches drive to find ideal father for newest Globe production, Papa Dear.” The concert is to run for three days and will win for one Father, fame and fortune and a Hollywood contract. For a bit of fun the Mayor helps Willy to submit Judge William in to the contest!
