Kitt Calvert had stood on the steps of the hospital building at Three Falls prison this morning watching the neatly dressed uniformed prisoners gathering on the exercise grounds. It was the recreational period. Remembrance of the comparative luxury of her two days in the hospital brought an amused smile to her face - at least she had had some relief from the drudgery of the laundry!
