It was early dusk when Aunt Mary came out of the screen door of the farmhouse and settled herself on the porch. She heard the sound of the family pick-up truck ambling up the drive. She could always tell who was driving the truck from the sound alone, and today she knew it was Lefty, because he had skidded to a halt and then excitedly headed up the path to Aunt Mary.
