Last night was a grim and tragic one in the small town down in Brown Country. A stranger fell to his death from a window in Miss Ann Morrison's suite over at the Rushville Centerhouse. Joseph was there with Miss Morrison when it happened. Completely stunned by the sight of a man flying out of the window, screaming, and hurt because the stranger - whoever he was - had been in the adjoining room all of the time he had been pouring out his impassioned love for Miss Morrison.
