This has been a busy, busy day for Ma in Rushville Center. First she waited up nearly the whole night for Joseph to come home, then she spent a little time trying to intercede with the law on Joseph's behalf, and then there was the business with Alfred Sinclair. It's 5 o'clock now and Ma is home, busy in the kitchen because she's got guests coming for supper tonight.
