Amos, the editor of the local newspaper, the Post Bugle is a little upset this morning, and Frank Adams, the doctor, has warned him not to get so excited and worked up about trivial matters. The trivial matter turns out to be the debt owed to him for advertising from Max, the town's tailor. He can't afford to offer any credit, as he mortgaged the property to finance some new equipment for the newspaper.
