It’s a little after six in the evening and in a small town near Baltimore the car belonging to salesman Norris is pulled off the side of the road and Norris stands arguing heatedly with another man over the wreckage of a child’s wagon. While inside Norris’s car Perry Mason posing as Mr Smith has decided to get involved for fear that they will call the police.
