The wicked witch has disguised herself as a tree in the hope that Jonathan Thomas and his friends will rest by it and be cast under her spell but fortunately they meet Kermit the Hermit who suspects the witch and warns Jonathan and his friends and gives them a rhyme to say at the right time which will reveal the witch and her wicked plan.
