It's afternoon in the apartment in which Lisa Fenner shares with Lily, the entertainer at the Golden Peacock nightclub. Lisa is alone, and reflecting on her life dancing again. If she hadn't met Aunt Mary, she'd have never have been persuaded to dance again, after reaching the depths of despair.
