Remember the old days of the riverboats, when they had a big paddle wheel on the stern to push them along over the shallow parts of the river. Some folks called them the good old days, but really the rivers and shallow lakes haven't changed that much since those good old days. They're still shallow in many parts, and the shifting sand and mud bars still are a menace to navigation - so we still have riverboats in some parts of the country. Our story today, concerns the small riverboat which takes tourists from Knotty Pine up to Mirror Lake and the King's Islands.
