This morning, Aunt Mary and Peggy had driven over to a farm several miles away, to visit an old school friend of Peggys, whose first baby had been born a few days ago. They carried a large basket in the back of the pick-up truck, which they had packed lots of delicious food. Their gifts had been received gratefully, and they'd complimented the proud young mother on the birth of her baby girl.
