As the old South West grew, so grew the fame of the hard riding, law upholding Cisco Kid and his faithful ally Pancho, but it was inevitable that in many cases, the truth be garbled and that Cisco and Pancho be looked upon as outlaws. Now and then this latter belief would be deliberately helped along by such King Bannan and Mark Conley. As our story opens, Bannan and Conley are standing in an alley between two crude buildings in the frontier town of Cactus Vista. It's a rainy night, but through the window of a larger building, comes light enough to help the heavily armed men in their preparation.
