It was the adventure drama of the ketch “The Scarlet Queen” which sailed the South Pacific. The story would begin as an entry in the captain, Philip Carney’s, log book and would end the same way. Each episode was renowned for its sound effects of the swishing sounds of the sea, the lookout’s cry from the crow’s nest and the creaks and groans of the ship. Elliot Lewis starred as Captain Philip Carney with Ed Max co-starring as Mr Gallagher.
