Judy Canova Show – 1943-1953

Judy’s own show was a thirty-minute comedy based on the story of a pigtails and calico country bumpkin who moved to the big city to live with her aunt, opened with a monologue and a novelty song which were followed by the comedy skit and more singing. Judy spoke every week of her pig, Loverboy or about Cousin Ureenus, who loved chopped-liver ice cream.
