Father Knows Best – 1949-1954
Jim Anderson was a good natured and wise father, played by Robert Young. He was a bit of a scatterbrain, to say the least, and his wife Margaret is a trifle too sweet. The Andersons were an American family living in an average American town. He was an insurance agent had a nice house and three children, a typical American family. Well things, as always, are not as simple as that.
