Old time radio show series available at RUSC Old Time Radio
Broadcast on NBC from 1932 to 1949. Al Jolson's real name was Asa Yoelson. During his heyday he was billed as The World's Greatest Entertainer. He was the star of various radio shows from the early 30s through to the late 40s. Some of his appearances included work on The Kraft Music Hall in 1934, The Shell Chateau in 1935, The Lifebuoy Program in 1936, The Al Jolson Colgate Show in 1942 and 1943 and finally The Kraft Music Hall or Al Jolson Music Hall between 1947 and 1949. RUSC Old Time Radio (or RU Sitting Comfortably to give the site its full title) is a web site specializing in the wonderful world of old time radio.
