In it’s heyday it featured Gerald Mohr as the hard-boiled detective Philip Marlow, his voice perfectly carrying off the blood, guts and thunder frequenting the storylines. His opening to the show was one of the most memorable; “Get this and get it straight. Crime is a sucker’s road, and those who travel it end up in the gutter, the prison, or an early grave.” RUSC Old Time Radio (or RU Sitting Comfortably to give the site its full title) is a web site specializing in the wonderful world of old time radio.
